Year 12 Music

This week, our year 12 music students performed their final pieces for the HSC markers. Under our new lights in the drama room, they all looked the part and came out feeling proud of what they have achieved over the last few years. Every one of them has worked hard to be the best musician they can throughout the course and performed at the top of their ability for the markers.

Each student performed 4 pieces of music, except one, who chose to do a composition for one of their electives. The students performed on a range of instruments, including, drums, electric guitar and voice. The markers were entertained with a variety of musical genres, from heavy metal, early pop and soul, to songs from the stage.

A big thank you to the local instrumental and vocal teachers, who have helped guide, teach and accompany these students over the years.

It has been my pleasure to work with this group of young adults and I wish them the very best for the rest of their HSC examinations.
