Parent Catch Up

A big thanks to the many parents that came along for our parent catch up. We had a great discussion about the Student and Parent Opinion Survey results, collaborative learning days, school review feedback and also some preparations for Christmas events. The discussion points and an opportunity for any further feedback will be sent out to families via compass.

Friday Whole School Assembly

This Friday is a whole school assembly. All students will start the day at the Buninyong campus and catch the bus back to Scotsburn after recess.

Book Fair

The book fair will be on in the library this week. Please feel free to drop into the library before or after school to pick yourself up some bargains.

Pre Schooler Program

Our Pre Schooler program got off to a wonderful start last week. The 8 Preps in attendance had a fantastic time being school kids for the morning! A huge thanks to the Mum’s and Dads of our current students who attended and were able to help to make our new parents feel so welcome. Being available to answer questions over a cup of tea certainly helped to put any new parents at ease. We look forward to our Preps for 2020 returning again this week.

Grade 6 Camp

Our Gr 6’s had a wonderful time on camp last week. Experiencing many of the great sights and sounds of Melbourne was certainly a great opportunity. Special thanks to the Gr 6 teachers who were so supportive of the students whilst away.

Prep - Year 2 Sports

It was fantastic to see our P-2’s participating with such enthusiasm at the P-2 Sports last Friday. Special thanks also to the many family members that were able to encourage and support the kids during the day.

Prep -Year 2 Sleepover

Thursday 24th October is the Scotsburn P-2 Sleepover. Students have received permission notes and information regarding what to bring earlier this week. It would be great if parents could drop off their P-2 kids at 5.30pm and help them put their bed together. For some students, the Friday at school might be a long day! If you have concerns, please contact Shaun or Ana to arrange a time to collect your child early.

BBQ Area

Ken, Shane and Rick got a great start on the BBQ area earlier this week. As planned, the money raised from the school fete will be directed to this new space. We are looking forward to it being finished and ready for use.
