Prep to Grade 2 Sports Day

The annual Prep to Grade 2 Sports Day ran with a fabulous attendance at Buninyong Primary School on Friday, 11 October, 2019.  With perfect weather, the students embarked on a twelve station circuit of jumping, throwing and running activities that emulated the traditional athletics events experienced at the older year levels.  With everyone receiving a participation ribbon, it was great to see the smiles on everyone’s face.

The wonderful students at SEDA were here again for the third year in a row to run each activity.  A big thank you to Andrew Blackwood and his team at SEDA for their continued support.  With all carparks full, it was terrific to see the number of parents, siblings, grandparents and friends who showed up to cheer the students on. Celeste Vermeend did a wonderful job at convening the event and a big thank you goes out to all the wonderful staff at Buninyong Primary School who fully support these wonderful activities for our students. Congratulations to all our students on their participation!

Regional Athletics

Congratulations to Bella, Armani, William B, Xavier, Matt O, Matt O, Tilly, Jy, Charlotte, Mila S, Tom S and Zahra on their terrific performances at Regional Athletics competition last Friday.  Thank you to all friends and family who came along to support on the day!

Congratulations to our Matt O, 9/10 boys and 12/13 girls relay teams for making it through to the State Athletics Competition in a few weeks. We wish them all the best.

Blast Cricket

Well done again to all the students who have signed up for the Blast Cricket. Teams can be viewed here.  Please return any outstanding permission forms and payments.  A big thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to assist on the day!  A great effort by everyone!  Teachers in charge of these events will be running training sessions to inform students about the Blast Rules over the next week and a half.
