Madagascar Jr.  

What a crack-a-lackin’ time had by everyone who attended the Junior School production of Madagascar Jr.!

Year 6 students shone in their lead and ensemble roles, combining amazing singing (including harmonies), complex choreography, and strong character work. They delivered believable performances and captivated the audience. Special mention needs to be made of Ben Hampton (Alex), Elvin Pan (Marty), Rachel Jansen (Gloria), Bryce Moulton (Melman), and Reuben Talpan (King Julien) in lead roles. Of course, the penguins and lemurs were also crowd favourites! 

Every class performed to their very best, receiving cheers from the packed Life Ministry Church (two sold-out performances), from the Prep penguins and Year 1 explorers to the jiving Year 3 and 4 lemurs and the Year 5 zoo animals who opened the show. Who could forget the finale, featuring 360 students singing I Like To Move It. Such an array of talent.

All students, production team, Junior School staff, Maintenance team, Administration team and support staff are to be congratulated on a highly successful production! We now look forward to the school holidays when we can Relax, Be Cool, Chill Out!
