Food Studies Club

The Oxley Food Studies Club offers Senior students, across Years 7 - 12, a place to share or indulge in their passion for all things food whilst participating in events that are held for the Oxley community.

To start off the Club for 2022, the Food Studies leadership team and volunteer squad worked during lunchtimes across four weeks to develop, cost, bake, decorate and package 500 cookies for their first cookie drive.

The theme coincided with the recent The Little Mermaid production and featured a range of tails and shells decorated with fondant or sprinkles. The total profit raised from the sales of this event was close to $500 which has been donated to Oxley's Amari school in Uganda.

We also baked 400 cookies for R U Ok day which were distributed to Junior School students and Senior School staff. Students were able to bake and decorate the cookies in under three weeks! Fantastic effort!
