Well done to the Year 5 boys who recently presented their Semester 2 concert to conclude the year. The boys had a very successful year and we are looking forward to many of them continuing their musical journey at Marist in 2023.
On Tuesday 8 November the Music Department featured faculty member Kieran Stevenson (Voice, Keyboard) showcasing his work as a singer-songwriter in collaboration with fellow staff member Joseph Rabjohns. This duo known for “(melding) together the glow of the '80s with the poignancy of the new millennium” (happymag.tv) entertained students and staff in a short and entertaining 30-minute set.
Congratulations to all of the boys who performed in these concerts. Throughout the afternoon It was great to see our string, guitar, piano, voice and wind players perform to appreciative audiences across multiple venues in the Arts precinct. The email responses following the event gave great testament to the quality of many of the performances.
