Young ladies joining VET Engineering classes. Pt.2

This year due to the extra number of First year VET Engineering Studies students we have had to source another facility. After several weeks of negotiation, we have accessed the Engineering classroom at Box Hill Secondary College. This group of students come from the CBD side of Box Hill.

Like our class at Ringwood Training this group has two female students.

Alessia likes making stuff and understanding how thing work. Engineering has so much variety and opens up a range of career options which appeals to Alessia.

Alessia said “being able to make items from scratch is such an achievement”

Hannah also like to make things. She is unsure on which Engineering pathway at this stage she will pursue. But believes that the Certificate II in Engineering Studies will give her some insights into what areas he would like to specialise in. 

Hannah said “ There are a variety of options in the Engineering space to looking into”
