Facilities Report

A reminder that our first Facilities Meeting is on Thursday 17 March at 7pm. This will probably be a zoom meeting so let Chris know if you wish to be added to the committee. 

Much of our time is currently taken up in the preparation for the STEM Centre which is currently out for Tender. 

Key activities over recent weeks:

• Freezer repairs
• Mulching of gardens
• Improved water supply to roof evap coolers
• Ongoing construction of oval ramp
• Recycling of old lockers
• Rebuild of Staff urinal
• Preparation of temporary Woodwork rooms
• Installation of roller doors to new Junior School locker bay

Clean Up Australia Day

Ringwood Secondary College students did their bit on Clean Up Australia day to make a difference to the school environment. 

The start of period 1 saw swarms of Junior school students cover every nook and cranny of the College grounds and place the rubbish where it belongs- the rubbish bin. There are over 55 bins located onsite so there really is no excuse for rubbish to find itself on the ground. 

Keeping our school beautiful is a priority.
