Reading in the Sunshine

There’s something pretty special about a good story in the sunshine.

Our Year 9 students have been immersing themselves in The Body by Stephen King, enjoying a change of scenery as they head outside to listen to Mr Bailey bring the text to life.

Moments like these remind us that learning doesn’t just happen inside four walls—sometimes it’s about slowing down, soaking up the sunshine, and getting lost in a powerful story.

A great example of students engaging with literature in a meaningful (and memorable!) way.
