Sydney Royal Easter Show

Success at the Royal Easter Show
The Narrandera High School Angora Show Team travelled to Sydney for the 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show, departing late Saturday night with 7 Stage 5 Agriculture students, 2 teachers, 25 Angora goats and 15 fleeces. After a year of preparation refining their skills, animals and mohair, the team arrived early Sunday morning ready to compete.
Following entry into the showgrounds, students quickly unloaded animals, completed inspections, and set up pens. The fleeces were judged early, with a standout achievement being 1st place in the 5kg Kid Fleece class, marking the team’s first major success in mohair judging at the Sydney Royal.
