EXCEL Sport Program 

EXCEL Sport Boys Netball

On Thursday 13 August, our Year 7, 8 and 10 EXCEL Sport boys travelled to Knox Regional Netball Centre to compete in the Boys Netball Victoria School Championships. The students took to the netball courts in challenging wet conditions, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship across all four teams.  

Our Junior Red team showcased Judson C, Ryan C, Ashton F, Hudson G from Year 8 and Spencer A, Joshua M, Max K and Tripp W from Year 7 fought hard throughout the day and finished with one win and five losses.  

The Junior Blue team consisted of Michael H, Titus U, Leo K, Van L, Seb M, Aiden VL, Tyler F and Kobe A from Year 8. They had a strong campaign with three wins, one draw and two losses. 

The Intermediate Yellow team was made up of Levi M, Kaydn D, Brooklyn G from Year 10 and Raph D, Gus L, Baxter Q, Marley M and Lenny G from Year 9 and finished with one win, two draws and four losses. 

Our Inter Green Team consisted of Lachlan C, Cuan R, Noah H, Paxon S, Zayden K, Tait W, Jack Stephens and Zach T from Year 10, had a great day finishing with five wins and 2 losses.  

Thank you to Ms. Allan, Ms. Bound, Ms. Howarth and Jet for coaching and encouraging the teams throughout the day. A special thank you to Mia S and Giaan P from Year 10 for helping with scoring and supporting their peers. 

Despite the wet conditions making play challenging, all four teams competed strongly and represented Patterson River Secondary College with pride. Congratulations to all our students for their effort, positive attitude and commitment throughout the day!
