Student Wellbeing

RAC bStreetsmart
Coming up on Tuesday 31 March all Year 12 students will travel to Perth Arena to participate in the RAC bStreetsmart. This excursion will feature a crash scene re-enactment attended by the emergency services, just as it would occur at a real crash site. The students will have the opportunity to listen to speakers who have been directly impacted by road trauma and as well as talk with the emergency services personnel.
Food Reward
Congratulations to all the students who were lucky enough to receive a Magnum ice-cream for having a perfect behaviour record in the first four weeks of term. These ice-creams were well received by the students.
Wellio Wellbeing Lessons
In the Year 11 classes, we have looked at the Impacts and Effects of Gaming and Phone Addiction - finding a balance in the digital world.
The Year 12 classes covered two key topics: Will You Marry Me? which explored the legal aspects and different perspectives on marriage; and Consent & Coercion, focusing on building healthy relationships grounded in mutual respect and clear boundaries.
Careers Lessons
Coming up in careers lessons, all students will be learning about credit cards and the benefits and risks of having one.
