Save the Date! (and Place)

The 2026 Ball will be held at The Parmelia Hilton on Saturday 1 August 2026.

Calls for students to join our Ball Committee will open from tomorrow at lunchtime. The P&C will also be organising a nearby parent event, providing an opportunity for parents to meet one another and be close by for student pick‑up.

Important Dates in Boarding

  • Please note that the Autumn Carnival Weekend is the weekend after next. Those students not attending will be required to leave Residence by 4pm on Friday 20 March and return after 4pm on Sunday 22 March.

  • School holidays begin at 3pm on Thursday 2 April 2026.

  • ANZAC Day weekend is NOT a closed weekend (boarding is open), and we will be attending the ANZAC Day march in Cunderdin and spend the long weekend doing fun activities.

Laundry Issues

We apologise for the laundry issues being experienced by our boarders. The washing machine in Linto Girls dorm is currently awaiting parts that must be sourced overseas and is taking longer than expected. We have made alternative plans for girls to have their washing done twice a week in our commercial laundry by Residential Staff or use alternative machines in boarding on weekends.

The loss of uniforms is extremely frustrating for all concerned. Unfortunately, all episodes of missing items are due to students grabbing the wrong items or students not following the correct procedure. Please don't hesitate to reach out as we do our utmost to find the missing items and encourage all items to be marked with student names.

Yellow Dots

Here at Cunderdin Ag, we work very hard to ensure our students build resilience and good work-like patterns, ready for when they leave us and head out to the workforce, further study or apprenticeships.

Our first lesson is to tidy your room and leave it ready for the cleaners to vacuum and dust.

This builds a positive start for the day and also shows respect to our cleaners, who ensure the students have clean rooms ready for them after school.

Students who fail to maintain a tidy room have a 'yellow dot' placed on their door and their room is locked until the end of the day. Resi staff then work with students to rectify their rooms.

We have had a few yellow dots given lately as students rush or "forget" how to tidy their rooms in the mornings. Students are aware that with 3 strikes a demerit will be recorded against their names. To the majority of students, YOU are doing an AWESOME job!!

Sickness in Residential

Following the long weekend, we have had a number of students with cold/flu like symptoms. While we understand that many parents are busy and live some distance from the College, we really appreciate it when sick children can go home. With shared rooms and small classrooms, the germs are shared amongst friends and staff which can impact us all. If your student is unwell please keep them home until they are no longer coughing, sneezing or have a fever.
