STEM Careers Expo News
Recently our Year 10 students visited Quantum Victoria. We heard from STEM professionals talking about their careers in Hemotology, Cybersecurity, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing Technology, Car Safety System Research and Physiotherapy. We participated in a mathematical modelling workshop, in which we attempted to understand the underlying patterns of the spread of disease through a population.

We were happy to see the Flashforge 5M pro as the 3D printer of choice at Quantum. We bought one last year and will probably invest in more in the future. Quantum has 30 of them in one classroom!
Based on our conversations with Quantum staff and professional engineers, this is definitely something that should be offered to senior STEM students.
The students reported that they found it very interesting and worthwhile.
