Work Experience and Volunteering

Our students are gaining valuable real-world experience through volunteering and work placements across the community. 

Every second Wednesday, a group volunteers at Encompass Care, supporting vital local services and building teamwork and communication skills. On Fridays, other students are placed in a variety of settings including Toyota, Whittlesea Community Connections, Rivers Garden and Home, Early Learning Childcare Centres, and Vinnies. 

Some students are also exploring trades through hands-on experiences in areas like electrical work, gaining practical knowledge and insight into skilled careers.

These opportunities help students develop essential skills such as time management, problem solving, and professionalism, while offering a glimpse into diverse fields including retail, childcare, community service, and trades. 

We are proud of their dedication and the positive impact they are making in the community. We are also looking forward to discovering new opportunities ahead, where our students can continue to grow, learn, and be inspired through meaningful real-world experiences.
