Highlights from Springvale Campus
It’s hard to believe we are already in Week 8 of Term 4. The final weeks of the school year are always full of energy, celebration and important learning, and Springvale Campus has certainly been buzzing.
Our Breakfast Club continues to be a highlight each morning, with many students starting their day with a healthy, delicious meal. Toasties and Pancake Tuesdays remain crowd favourites and we’ve also been offering yoghurt with fresh fruit, cereal and other nutritious options to help fuel students for a full day of learning. A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and volunteers who help make this program such a warm and welcoming place for our students to start their day.
Another weekly highlight on Springvale Campus is the Reading Buddies Program. We are very grateful to the Greater Dandenong Libraries whose staff visit our FLC and JLC students every Monday and Friday to share stories, build reading confidence and foster a love of books. Our students look forward to these sessions, and the positive impact on their reading skills and engagement has been wonderful to see.
With only a few weeks left of the school year, students across all year levels are working hard to reach their learning goals. Teachers have been supporting students to reflect on their progress, celebrate growth and make the most of the remaining time in 2025. Classrooms are full of focus and determination as students complete projects, practise new skills and prepare for end-of-year celebrations.
Our Year 6 students are also busy preparing for their upcoming graduation. It’s an exciting and emotional milestone as they begin to look ahead to secondary school. They have been practising their speeches, organising performances and reflecting on their primary school journey. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with families very soon.
