On Friday the 24th of July, our SRC ran our annual fundraiser, The World’s Greatest Shave. The event was a major success, raising over $3000 to support the Leukaemia Foundation; involving a bake sale, where members of the SRC and the school community brought home-cooked pastries that were sold for either $2 or $4. With the money raised, the Leukaemia Foundation will be funding blood cancer research and providing financial assistance to families in need. A massive thank-you for all who donated, supported their teachers or friends getting their heads shaved, and promoted awareness of the cause!

Courtesy of Miss McCoy, new suggestion boxes can be found in the front office and library foyer. These boxes are equipped with slips of paper, to encourage students to leave suggestions so the SRC can ensure every communal voice is heard. You are encouraged to offer opinions on events- the aspects you wish to see kept next year, any improvements to existing functions and suggestions for new ones. 

Last Friday during lunchtime, the House Captains organised a very successful Just Dance event, wherein students from all year levels attended. Numerous people described it as an amazing and surprisingly tiring experience.
