Kalinda Parents and Friends

The Kalinda Parents & Friends would like to extend a warm "thank you" to all the staff, parent volunteers & Grade 6 students who assisted us at last week's Father's & Carers Day stall. Events like this cannot happen without many hands on deck, & we are so grateful to have so many people offer to help for the day & in the preparation days leading up to it. 

Special thanks go to volunteers Lisa W, Verity M & Scott for joining us to run the stall day. Many thanks to our team members Ellen, Alicia, Vivienne, Jo, Courtney & Kimberley for making the day run smoothly. Our thanks also go to Donna & Phelicia for their help on the preparation days.

The Parents & Friends Team will open a mini-stall for students who were absent on stall day to complete their Father's & Carer's Day shopping. The mini-stall will be open in the store-room of the multipurpose room this Wednesday at recess & Friday at lunchtime. 

We hope all the fathers, grandfathers, carers, & special people enjoy the gifts their children chose for them, & have a lovely Father's Day weekend.

The Parents & Friends would also like to thank the school community for supporting Kalinda at Grill'd Croydon during August. To everyone who bought a burger this month & dropped their token into the Kalinda Local Matters Jar, we say 'thank you'. We will announce the outcome of the token jar once the results have been received from Grill'd.
