MSA Awards

The 2024 MSA Awards Night was held on 5 March, as students, family and friends celebrated many achievements from 2024.
The evening was emceed by Tony Schibeci and co-hosted by Tom McGuane, Emily Jelesic, Arden Stevens, and Mia Gordon. Our Year 7 students were welcomed by Didgeridoo musician Mem Aziz and Acknowledgment of Country was delivered by Year 10 student Lacie Gleeson. The guest speaker was alumni AFLW player, Monique Conti, who shared stories about her time at MSA as a dual athlete (AFL/Basketball). Monique spoke about the success she has enjoyed since, and her time at Richmond Football Club, with the pinnacle being named AFLW Best & Fairest player in 2023.
There were many highlights throughout the evening, as we acknowledged the exceptional performances of our student-athletes. Awards were presented in many categories, which included 29 former and current students inducted into the national honour wall; and 32 coach excellence and endeavour awards.

The 2024 Sport Director’s Award recipient was Emily Rutkowski (Football).
At the end of the evening, Monique displayed her Best & Fairest Medal and shared photo opportunities with our students/families.
