From the Principal 

Dear parents and carers, students and staff,  

It was pleasing to see so many families at this week’s parent-teacher-student interviews, a great opportunity to receive both affirming and constructive feedback on learning progress. 

As always, it has been a very full term of extra-curricular activities and events, with the Year 7 Camp, the whole school swimming carnival, MSA Awards Evening, student-led celebrations like International Women’s Day and Live for Lily Day, and other engaging student experiences like Year 9 Urban Experience. 

Staff retirement 

Ms Heather Guilfoyle recently made the decision to retire, and is finishing up at the end of this term. We wish Heather all the very best and thank her for her committed contribution to education in general and specifically her time at Maribyrnong College since 2021. 

My thanks to students and staff for all their efforts this term. I hope all enjoy a well-deserved break.
