This week has seen the launch of Overnewton’s new Competitive Sportswear Range, designed to support students when representing the College in competitive sport.
We are pleased to be partnering with Uniform Group to deliver this range. Their expertise in performance apparel has enabled the College to develop a high quality, purpose built uniform that supports students across both training and competition.
The Competitive Sportswear Range will be introduced in phases, with the initial rollout applying to selected ACS and Year 5 and 6 sports in Term 2. Once team selections have been finalised, the Sport team will advise families when uniforms can be purchased.
This is an exciting new phase for the College and we look forward to seeing our students in a uniform that reflects both the pride of the College and the performance standards that we continue to build.

Last week, four of our Senior School students competed in the 3x3 Basketball Cup, showcasing their outstanding skill across a series of high-quality matches. The team consisted of Activate Leader Lincoln L, as well as Year 12 students Tim T and Nathan D, and Year 11 student Kale B.
The day began strongly with a hard fought 21–17 victory in Game 1, setting the tone for the competition. Game 2 proved to be a nail biter, with our team narrowly going down 18–17 in one of the closest contests of the day.
Responding impressively, the team bounced back in Game 3 with a commanding 21–15 win, carrying that momentum into the quarter final where they again performed strongly to secure a 21–15 victory and progress to the semi finals.
In the semi final, our students faced a very strong opponent, Templestowe, who would go on to win the tournament. Despite their best efforts, our team was defeated 21–13, bringing an end to a fantastic campaign.
Congratulations to all these students on their performances and we are proud of their efforts and the way they represented the school. Well done boys!
We are proud to congratulate our Senior School students on an outstanding Summer ACS season, with a number of teams progressing through to Grand Finals across multiple sports.
Our Boys Basketball (3rd team) demonstrated consistency and teamwork throughout the season to earn their place in the Grand Final. In Boys Futsal, it has been a particularly strong campaign, with our 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Red) and 4th (White) teams all reaching the final stage, a fantastic reflection of the depth and quality of our program.
Congratulations also to our Boys Softball team, whose efforts across the season have been rewarded with a Grand Final appearance, and to our Girls Volleyball (2nd team) for their commitment, culminating in a well deserved place in the decider.
To have such a wide range of teams competing on the biggest stage is a tremendous achievement and highlights the dedication of our students and coaches. We wish all teams the very best in their Grand Finals and look forward to seeing them represent the school with pride.
Congratulations also goes to our Teams that narrowly missed out on reaching the grand final, bowing out in the semis last week. Well done to the following teams on a successful season of Summer Sport
Girls Tennis 1st, 2nd Red
Girls Volleyball 5th, 6th
Boys Basketball 1st, 2nd Blue, 4th, 6th White,
Boys Futsal 4th Yellow
