Assessments and SACs

Our Year 10, VCE and VCE VM students have settled into the 2026 school year amazingly well. Routines have been developed and students are working hard.

It’s hard to believe we have nearly finished Term 1!

SAC Calendars

These have been sent out via Compass several weeks ago. Please encourage your child to review these and to plan appropriately for ‘busy weeks’.

Strategies that can make a big difference to student stress levels might include:

  • an early night the night before a SAC

  • ·eating a healthy fuel filled breakfast each morning

  • a positive, reassuring chat with you

  • limiting part time work during that week

  • planning a quiet weekend in the lead up to a busy week

Absence From Assessment

A reminder that when students miss a SAC due to illness, we require supporting medical evidence, such as a medical certificate, for all Year 10, 11 and 12 students.

Absences without a medical certificate or due to family holidays will not be graded, and students will need to complete the task as soon as is possible for an S or N only.

Special Examination Arrangements (SEA)

Applications for Year 12 students’ Special Examination Arrangements have all been finalised and submitted to VCAA. We will advise families of the outcome of those applications when we receive it. Please note, we anticipate this to be early next term.

I hope all students and their families have a wonderful Easter, and a restful break before we launch into another busy and exciting Term.
