Year 7 IGNITE – Life on Earth Expo Success

Congratulations to our year 7 IGNITE students on a wonderful Life on Earth Expo. It was fantastic to see so many families come along to support the students as they showcased their inspiring work from term 1.

The ‘Life on Earth’ unit allowed students to explore the fundamental needs required for humans to survive and thrive within their communities. 

Through this unit, students delved into social and environmental concepts, gaining a deeper understanding of what motivates us to live well and the systems, structures, and resources necessary for a sustainable future.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a memorable celebration of learning and curiosity.

Year 9 IGNITE – Peace and Conflict Expo

Congratulations to our year 9 IGNITE students on delivering a thoughtful and engaging Peace and Conflict Expo.

Throughout this term, students have explored how relationships are depicted in various texts and examined representations of conflict between individuals. 

Their studies involved analysing how different types of conflict are formed and develop over time. 

In addition, students created their own texts, investigating the roles of conventional heroes and villains and comparing these to unconventional relationships.

Thank you to all the families who attended and supported our students as they showcased their creative and analytical work. It was inspiring to see our learners reflect so deeply on these important themes.
