Second-hand Book/Uniform Sale

YEAR 7 TO 12 SECOND-HAND BOOKSALE – Help needed please!

DON’T THROW AWAY THOSE BOOKS OR UNIFORM!!!

The Second-Hand Booksale will be on again this year. It will follow the same format as we have done in the past, with collection of books to sell for a week or two before 2 sale days, with no pre-ordering of books to buy. 

The two main Sale Days will take place in room G2 and will be on:

 Friday 5 December from 3 to 6.30pm,

 Saturday 6 December from 10am to 12pm

We will also be selling on the Yr 7 Orientation day: 

Tuesday 9 Dec from 9 – 10am and 3 – 4pm

A note with all the details will come home with your child along with the booklist for next year. Unfortunately this year there are very few textbooks that we can sell for the Years 7 to 10 as the Science, Maths and Humanities books are all new editions for next year L We can sell the novels though, so please bring them in. Thankfully, there are lots of books available for sale for Years 11 and 12.

Year 10, 11 and 12 students can drop off their books to sell at the office, after their exams. Year 7 - 9 students can drop off their books in the week before the sale days.

The booksale and second-hand uniform shop are a great service to the school community and are also good fundraisers. They are win-win with money back to families and also to the school. Please support them, if you can, by buying and selling your books and uniform through the school and also by volunteering some time to make sure the booksale runs smoothly. 

We need helpers to check and code all the books as they are dropped off by the students (from Tuesday 2nd til Friday 5th December) and also, of course, to sell the books on the sale days. Helpers will get first pick of books for sale! Please let me know if you are able to help anytime during that week –we really need you!
