Middle School

Our Middle Years students have been embracing a wide range of learning and wellbeing opportunities this term, both inside and outside the classroom.
Our Year 7 students had a wonderful time participating in the Man Cave and Big Sister Experience programs. These sessions encouraged students to reflect on their wellbeing, strengthen connections with their peers, and build a greater sense of confidence and self-awareness. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the fun activities and meaningful conversations.
Year 7s also ventured out on their Place & Liveability excursion as part of the Humanities curriculum. Students explored local areas to investigate what makes a place liveable, collecting data and engaging with their surroundings in a hands-on, practical way.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting events on the horizon.
Our Year 9 students will be heading out on their Humanities fieldwork excursion on Monday 24 November, continuing their studies through real-world investigation.
Year 7 students will enjoy a fun end-of-year excursion to WaterMarc on Monday 1 December.
Year 8 Camp is fast approaching and will run from 8–10 December at Alexandra Adventure Resort. We’re also pleased to have a group of Year 9 leaders joining us to support and help build a positive camp culture.
In the final week of term 4 2025 (15th - 19th December), we will be running an alternate program to standard classes. The alternate program will consist of a selection of different sessions such as cleaning up around the school, sport round robins, watching movies, making holiday cards and more.
