SWPBS

SWPBS – School Wide Positive Behaviour
SWPBS is a framework that helps schools create safe, positive, and inclusive environments where students and staff can thrive.
Staff and students have had input over the last few years to create a matrix outlining the behaviours we would like to see around the school.
This year we will be recognising the positive behaviour displayed by our students. Each classroom will have a reward jar and when the weekly behaviour is demonstrated a pom pom will be placed in the jar. When the jar is full the class will choose a classroom reward. This may include extra time outside, a free choice session inside or computer time.
When the class jars have been filled a token is put into the Whole School Reward Jar. When this is full a surprise Whole School reward will be awarded. Keep your eyes open for this display to arrive in the office.
This term our focus is on how to Be Respectful and the table below outlines the positive behaviours we are looking for. In your weekly update it should outline the specific behaviours for the coming week.
We are looking forward to celebrating the positive behaviours that are evident at Malvern Primary every day.
