A Message from the
Acting Principal
Mr Steven Belcastro
Almighty God,
deepen in our hearts our love of Mary Help of Christians.
Through her prayers and under her protection,
may the light of Christ shine over our land.
May Australia be granted harmony, justice and peace.
Grant wisdom to our leaders and integrity to our citizens.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

On Monday I accompanied the School Captains and Vice Captains to represent our community at the Mary Help of Christians Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral. Presided by Bishop Tony Percy, this gathering brought Catholic Primary School students and staff together in prayer. This Patronal Feast Day is an important one for our country and we ensured that the St Martha’s community were in our prayers.

We are proud to share that St.Martha's has been recognised as one of NSW's Top 160 Schools for maths and literacy growth by the Sydney Morning Herald.
Tracking growth from Year 3 to Year 5 over two years, the results reflect the hard work of our students and the dedication of our teachers who work every day to help each of our students grow in confidence, capability and understanding.

Each year we survey our parents, teachers and students about how we are going as a school community. This survey gives us feedback and ideas to inform change and to identify areas where we are doing really well.
Please make sure you have your say and respond to the survey. We have 200 possible reponses, so get in early to have your say. A huge thank-you to the 38 parents have already responded. I would love to beat Mrs Parsell's record of 181 responses!
