Welcoming 'New' Staff

Hello there! My name is Harry (or Mr Rowland to the students) and I have started this year as a Secondary PE teacher at CCK. 

Whilst I am finishing my studies at Deakin University, I am also working two days a week at CCK. I have enjoyed teaching a variety of different PE classes whether Primary or Secondary, gym or classroom, interschool or at home. I am keen to continue my journey at CCK getting to know the staff and students better and being a part of their growth in Health and PE. 

I currently serve at my church in the youth space leading a group of Year 9 boys and have previously served in children and young adults ministry. I have also served on missions through the Blue Moose Program. Previously I have been studying Health and PE Teaching at Deakin university and working at McDonald's. 

Since I first visited CCK to now, Week 4 of Term 2 I am more than satisfied with my experience so far. I have loved being able to be part of this community that strives to bring God’s presence into the classroom. The students have been the most well-behaved and hardworking students I have gotten to work with. 

For fun, I enjoy watching movies, getting to enjoy God’s creation and many-things-car-related.
