Life on the Farm

The Preps had their excursion to Myuna Farm in Doveton to support our integrated unit of ‘Life on the Farm’ yesterday, Thursday 13 November. The students participated in a paddock feed, feeding animals like a camel, deer, emus, kangaroos, alpacas and lambs. The students enjoyed a train ride to the wetlands where we saw an extraordinary number of fruit bats. They enjoyed patting the Nursery animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs and sheep. Everyone was very excited to milk the goat at the Farm Show, and after lunch, we also had a long play at the playground before returning to school.
