Hoop Time

BULLA HOOP TIME 

JUNIOR ROUND ROBIN DAY

A few weeks ago, Whitehorse Primary School had 3 teams compete in the Junior Hoop Time Round Robin Day at Nunawading Basketball Stadium.

All teams were in the Future Stars section and played shortened basketball matches against schools, Ringwood Heights PS, Parkmore PS and many others. It was fantastic to see 2 of our Grade 6 players, Bailey R and Xavier H, help with coaching a team. The other teams were coached by Miss V and Miss D, and myself.

All our Future Stars’ teams played their absolute best and did everything that was asked of them. All teams made it to a final with 2 teams making it a Grand Final. In the end we had one team WHITEHORSE WARRIORS who won on the day and will play in the Regional Final later in Term 4

A HUGE thank you to all the wonderful parents and grandparents that helped with the driving, scoring and cheering.

SENIOR ROUND ROBIN DAY

Early in June, Whitehorse Primary School had 3 teams compete in the Senior Hoop Time Round Robin Day at Mullum Mullum Basketball Stadium. 

The three teams played across all sections – All Star Boys, All Star Girls and Future Stars. We were lucky enough to have some wonderful coaches in Miss V, Miss D, and myself😊

The teams all played to their best and made improvements at each game. All the teams had various outcomes, with the All-Star Girls being in a very tough section. The Future Stars team made it to a final while our All-Star Boys won on the day. The All-Star Boys will play in the Regional Finals later in Term 4.
