Time to Rest and Relax

As we reach the end of another busy term, the holidays provide an important opportunity for both students and staff to rest and recharge. 

Throughout the term, our students have put great effort into their learning, relationships and personal growth. We congratulate them on their school reports, their participation in camps and the friendships they have continued to build with their peers. 

These extended school holidays offer our students valuable time to reconnect with family, enjoy familiar surroundings and quiet busy minds. The break is equally important for our staff. Supporting, educating and caring for young people is both a privilege and a significant responsibility. From helping students get ready for school and attending medical appointments, to driving them to sporting commitments and finding quiet moments to listen to their worries, this work depends on trusted adults who show up with care and consistency. 

We are excited to begin the second half of the year at MITS, with planning already underway for the Celebration of Arts on Friday 14th August. We look forward to celebrating the creativity and hard work of our students and staff on the night and invite our community members to join in the celebration. 

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another rewarding term, in the meantime rest and relax.
