Around the Primary Classrooms

Year 3

Over the past few weeks, Grade 3 have been busy preparing for our amazing Arts Festival! We have sanded and shaped our wood, experimented with charcoal, and rehearsed our Auslan and singing voices.

We are so excited to share all our hard work with you. We can’t wait for you to see what we have created and hear us perform!

Year 4

In the midst of the craziness of Arts Festival preparation year 4 took the opportunity to take a step back to relax and design some "Zentangles" as a fun activity on a Friday afternoon. These photos show some examples of Year 4 students work. 

Maths Relay at Rosny College

On Sunday, 30 August, eight of our Year 5 and 6 students participated in the Maths Relay at Rosny College.

Congratulations to Vivienne Pedersen, Shanaya Prajit, Anna Thickett, Doris Jiang, Aashiya Bhattarai, May Nguyen, Sia Cheong and Olivea Lum, who enthusiastically represented the College. Working in teams of four, the students tackled a range of challenging mathematical problems, showing excellent teamwork, persistence and problem-solving skills.

The students worked extremely well together, enjoyed the challenge and had a fantastic time. Thank you to all of the parents for their support on the day and for helping make this experience possible for our students. 

A huge thank you to Rachael Willis and Sharmila Prajit (Shanaya’s mum) for assisting on the day. Well done to all involved!
