Careers

Hello Parents/Guardians and Community Members,

This is our final newsletter for what turned out to be a busy term in the careers office. Our Year 12 have finished their last term of their entire school journey and hopefully are able to have a break and begin to prepare for their final HSC examinations next term.

Congratulations Year 12!

I wish to congratulate all our Year 12 students on the completion of their school journey and remind them all that they can still come into the careers office next term and in the future to seek support and guidance on what next in their post school planning. This includes helping with resumes and preparing their job portfolios and general post school advice.

Congratulations to those Year 12 students who have received Early Entry offers to their chosen universities. You can refer to the full list of Early Entry offers in the Student Achievement section of this newsletter. Students are reminded to come see me to seek any advice and assistance with any questions they may have in relation to the offers they have received

Good Luck in your final HSC Examinations!

AgVision Excursion

Recently our students had the opportunity to attend the biennial AgVision event at held at Yanco Agriculture High School in Yanco. Over 500 students from the Riverina-Murray regions attended the day of hands-on experiences, exploring the many exciting career pathways and opportunities available in the agricultural industry.

A huge thank you to our RIEP Officer Katie Friedlieb for organising such a huge event and thank you to Yanco Ag, Exhibitors and Industry experts who all provided our students with this opportunity. Thank you, Mr Matt Shady and Miss Daneka Hatty in taking our students to this event!
