Principals Message

As we conclude Term 3, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire school community for your commitment and contributions that have made this term successful. It has been encouraging to witness the dedication of our students, the support of our families, and the hard work of our staff throughout the past weeks.

A special congratulations goes to all the award winners recognised at our Term 3 formal assembly. Your achievements exemplify the values of resilience, persistence, and excellence that we strive to foster in our school. We celebrated students who received faculty awards for demonstrating academic resilience and persistence, along with those who have shown excellence in their classes. These accolades are a testament to the effort and determination you have invested in your learning. We also proudly acknowledged our PBL Platinum award winners who have earned over 500 Positive Behaviour (PB) recognitions. Your positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a respectful and supportive school environment set a commendable example for your peers.

The 2027 student school leaders—Jessica Wright, Skye Hutchison, Charlie Brooker, Anthony Sinclair, Josef Meier, and Ella Richens—received their leadership badges at the Formal Assesmbly. The outgoing leaders, Marati Johnson, Hannah Beer, Noah Tait, Amy Hall, RG Mann, and Jye Winnell, have been outstanding role models throughout the year. Their dedication and commitment have set a high standard, providing exceptional guidance and inspiration for the incoming leaders as they embark on their leadership journey in 2027.

This week, our Year 12 students enjoyed their much-anticipated Celebration Week. The festivities included dress-up days, a Mock Assembly, a breakfast and lunch with staff, and the exciting final round of The Legends Cup. These events offered opportunities for students to relax, have fun, and celebrate their achievements together as they approach the completion of their secondary education.

As the Year 12 graduates prepare to move forward, the school community acknowledges their persistence, academic accomplishments, and continued support for one another throughout their time at Narrandera High School. These young adults have grown and developed into exemplary individuals, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Year 12 students and wish them every success in their bright futures.
