Hazelthorn

by C.G. Drews

Hazelthorn is a spooky, bloody mystery-horror set in a lavish but decrepit mansion that is surrounded by a hostile and hungry garden.

Seventeen-year old Evander spends his days locked in his room, his only contact with the outside world being his guardian, the rich and mysterious Byron Lennox-Hall, and terse butler Carrington. He longs to explore the wild garden that threatens to choke Hazelthorn Manor, but fear and strict rules keep him inside. Everything changes when Byron suddenly dies and leaves his entire fortune to Evander.

Convinced his guardian’s death was no accident, and overwhelmed by the Lennox-Hall family members who descend on Hazelthorn to claim what they believe is rightly theirs, Evander teams up with his nemesis (and crush), Laurie, the arrogant but handsome grandson of Byron.

Evander’s pursuit to find out the truth leads him into great danger until he no longer knows who to trust…can he even trust himself?

Hazelthorn is a highly entertaining thriller, with strange characters and a fantastically creepy setting. Perfect for those who love mystery, horror, and weird twists!
