Interschool Sport

All our teams stayed at school this week because Hume Anglican had other commitments. Our Year 5/6 students took this opportunity to get together with their teams and get some extra practice in. 

Next week we are playing St Paul's at Whittlesea Primary School. 

Netball School Championships

Last Friday, 7th August, our gold netball team competed in the State School Championships at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. During the day, there was some tough competition; however, the girls never gave up and displayed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience. 

Game 1 - 12-3 Lost

Game 2 - 5-4 Lost

Game 3 - 20-3 Lost

Game 4 - 17-0 Won

Game 5 - 8-4 Lost

Well done to our girls; we are all very proud of your effort on the day. 

3/4 Hoop Time

On Wednesday 12th August, our Year 3/4 students travelled to Mill Park Stadium and represented our school in the local Hoop Time competition. With four teams - three mixed teams and a girls' team it was a day full of energy and team spirit. Huge congratulations to all our players for their effort, attitude, and school pride. Thank you to our coaches and Year 6 house captains (Eva R, Lottie C, Peyton C and Adeline J) for coaching and scoring throughout the day. A special shout-out to our parents and supporters for coming along and helping and supporting our teams throughout the day.

Congratulations to all our teams for making the finals. Good Luck to our girls' team, who went undefeated throughout the day and will move on to the next round.
