🚸 School Crossing Safety – Safe Crossings, Safe Kids
The Department of Transport and Planning’s Safe Crossings, Safe Kids campaign is all about encouraging safer behaviours around school crossings – for both drivers and pedestrians.
The campaign highlights the important role of our crossing supervisors and aims to raise awareness to help keep everyone safer near schools.
We encourage our whole school community to play their part in supporting safe travel to and from Lilydale High School. 💙

🌟 3-Way Conferences – September 2025
We are looking forward to our 3-Way Conferences with students, parents, and teachers. This is an important opportunity to discuss student progress and set goals.
📍 Onsite: Thursday, 18 September | 3:30pm – 6:30pm
💻 Online: Friday, 19 September | 8:30am – 12:30pm
📌 Bookings: Please make your bookings via the Parent Compass Portal. Bookings CLOSE 15 September.
We encourage all families to attend and engage in this valuable discussion about your child’s learning journey.
📌Students Leaving Early
For various reasons, you may need your child to leave school early on a particular day. We recommend that, wherever possible, appointments be scheduled outside school hours to minimise disruption to your child’s learning and to classes.
If you need to collect your child, please do one of the following:
- ✉️ Send a note with your child
- 💻 Log the early departure on Compass
- 📞 Leave a message on the relevant Sub School Absence Line
Students are responsible for collecting an Early Leavers Pass from the Sub School Offices, either before school, at recess, or at lunch.
⚠️ Please note: If an Early Leavers Pass has not been arranged in advance, staff may not be able to promptly collect students from class, as students may be attending lessons in various areas around the school.
Student Lockers
As a number of valuable items (Chromebooks, mobile phones, wallets etc) are stored in students' lockers throughout the day, it is imperative that all students padlock their locker to ensure items do not go missing.
Locks can be purchased from the School Office for $10.00

🚗 Stadium Carpark – Pick Up and Drop Off Reminder
Parents and carers are kindly reminded to use the Stadium Carpark for student pick up and drop off.
❌ Please do NOT drive through the Staff Car Park (Melba Avenue). This area is strictly a parking-only facility and is out of bounds for students.
