Intergenerational Morning Tea

The Year 12 General EALD students have been exploring the experience of ageing in Australia. As part of their program, an intergenerational morning tea was organised so the students could interact with some older Australians. 

A group of people – Ruth, Antonia, Dawn, Rosemary and Celia – visited our two Year 12 classes for a morning of getting-to-know you activities and a panel discussion about ageing in Australia. 

We would like to thank our visitors for their generous sharing – some students reported that it was a profound experience to talk so openly about this important topic.
