Around the College

We love to celebrate our students' achievements - if your student has won something, appeared in something, competed in something, or is proud of achieving something outside of school, send photos and information to their Homeroom teacher for inclusion in our Newsletter.
VCE VM Students Bake a Wish for Make-A-Wish
VCE VM students continued their dedication to supporting charities and social causes this week through the creation of cupcakes for the upcoming Bake a Wish Day, supporting the incredible work of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Bake a Wish provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to promote the Make-A-Wish Foundation and raise awareness of the incredible work they undertake to support young people and their families during challenging times. As part of the initiative, students created a stunning collection of cupcakes, which were photographed and uploaded to the Make-A-Wish website for use in promotional materials.
As always, our VCE VM students approached the activity with enthusiasm, creativity and dedication. Their willingness to contribute to meaningful causes and share their time, skills and generosity is something we are incredibly proud of. We look forward to continuing to support Bake a Wish Day and helping Make-A-Wish bring hope, joy and memorable experiences to young people and their families.
Year 10 student Charlie Graham-Cross has recently been presented an award for Leongatha Venturer Scout of the Year!
Charlie organises many of the activities for Leongatha Venturers to enjoy each week, is always willing to step in and help other people run their program nights if they need assistance, participates in extra activities such as Snow Camp and Strzelecki Showtime, while also helping to run programs for younger Scouts and for everyone on camps.
Congratulations Charlie!
