Young Vinnies Update

As another busy term for Young Vinnies comes to an end, I would like to sincerely thank again the students and staff who give up their time each fortnight to cook for the Community Kitchen, as well as the staff who generously donate ingredients.

At our most recent cook, the Kelmscott Vinnies President shared that 70 people attended the Community Kitchen for a meal the previous week, while a further 30 people received food through the people on the street outreach program. These numbers remind us that our efforts are making a real difference in the lives of others.

Looking Ahead to Term 4

As we begin the countdown to Christmas, our Young Vinnies Christmas Appeal will once again support local families in need.

• Year 11 students will be invited to donate gifts during Weeks 3-4.
• Years 7-10 students will be invited to participate in our Christmas Food Drive Weeks 6 – 8.

More information will be provided next term.
