Certificate III in Music
Our Certificate III in Music students will have the fantastic opportunity to perform at the upcoming City of Gosnells Citizenship Ceremony this Saturday, 19 September.
This is a great chance for our students to gain valuable industry experience, perform in a professional community setting, and showcase their skills to a wider audience.
I would like to wish students the very best of luck and hope they enjoy this exciting opportunity.
TAFE Offers:
Our Year 11 and 12 VET students are starting to receive their external TAFE offers for 2027. Congratulations to everyone who has already received an offer!
For those still waiting in anticipation, I wish you the very best of luck and hope you receive some exciting news very soon.
Well done to all students for the hard work and effort you have put into your applications.
VET Spotlight:
Congratulations to Year 12 student Chiara, who has been accepted into the Department of Education pool at Huntingdale Primary School, where she is currently completing her placement whilst studying a Certificate IV in School Based Education Support.
This is a fantastic achievement and a great opportunity to continue building valuable experience in a familiar school environment.
Well done, Chiara!
Business Engagement Forum:
Congratulations to Year 12 student Charli, who was part of the Spark team awarded Most Unique Business Idea at the Austraining WA 2026 Business Engagement Forum held at St Norbert College on 11 September.
Through studying Certificate IV in Business at Austraining WA, Charli helped develop and present Spark, an online rental platform designed to help people “spark their interests” by renting hobby equipment and exploring new hobbies and adventures.
Charli presented the business concept to a panel of three judges, showcasing the organisational and financial information developed in preparation for the forum.
I was privileged to attend the event and see firsthand the confidence, professionalism and hard work Charli brought to the presentation.
This was a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable industry experience and demonstrate the business skills developed throughout the course.
We are thrilled to congratulate Year 12 student Rani on securing a full-time position as a Team Leader at Reece Plumbing! Having successfully completed her School-Based Traineeship in Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, Rani's dedication, practical skills, and hard work have paved the way for this fantastic career milestone. We wish her the very best in her new leadership role.
Congratulations to the following Year 12 students for completing their external TAFE qualifications early:
Diploma of Sport (Diamond High Performance)
Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-Apprenticeship)
Well done!
