25th Anniversary Artwork

Have you seen the beautiful new artwork installed outside our Undercover Area?

Designed by local Brabham residents, Dannielle and Naomi Nelson, the artwork was created to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The school’s cross which is featured in our logo and in the metal work across the school is surrounded by our four faction colours.

The cross highlights Christ as being at the centre of all we do at St Helena’s Catholic Primary School. Underneath the cross are 25 meeting circles to represent the 25 years our school community has gathered, learnt and celebrated together.

Each gathering year is linked to another, as our school’s foundation has been built on and has grown over the past quarter century. To the left is the ocean and Swan River and to the right are the hills representing the land (Boodja) on which our Ellenbrook community is located.

In class, students illustrated their class animal’s outline, and these can be seen throughout the artwork.

The artwork was proudly supported by our P&F and a PALS grant.
