Science Week

Week 4 was Science Week at St Helena's. During lunchtime the students took part in some hands on activities such as ooblek and snot slime. 

Staff had the chance to eat sustainable food such as crickets, mealworms and ants. While many people don't see bugs as food, they are an amazing source of protein! Also, the classes had Science Quizzes to complete. The winner of the year PP to Year 3 quizzes was the Year 2 Echindas and the winner of the Year 4 to Year 6 quizzes was the Year 6 Brolgas.

In addition to class quizzes there was a quiz for staff and our lovely Administration Team won the quiz. There was also a science colouring competition. The winners were Samaya in Year 6 Emus and Charlotte in Year 3 Numbats. Both girls showed their amazing talents when it comes to colouring!
