Referral Process: Connecting Parents, Teachers and Wellbeing

At Christway College, we are committed to supporting each student’s academic, social, and emotional wellbeing. If you have concerns about your child’s progress, behaviour, or overall wellbeing, we encourage open communication through our structured referral process.

Initial Discussion – Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher via email or by arranging a meeting to share concerns and gather insights.

Teacher Support – The teacher may implement classroom strategies and monitor your child’s progress before determining whether additional support is required.

Wellbeing Referral – If further support is needed, the teacher may refer the student to the Wellbeing Team for targeted guidance and intervention. Parents may also request a wellbeing consultation directly. A Counselling Consent Form will be provided for parental approval where required.

Collaboration and Care – The Wellbeing Team works closely with teaching staff, non-teaching staff, parents, and students to provide strategies, counselling, or external referrals where appropriate.

Our goal is to foster a nurturing environment where every child feels supported and empowered to thrive. If you have any concerns, please reach out — we are here to help.
