From the Campus Principal's Desk

As we head into 2026, I want to remind us of our theme Renewed. This comes from Ephesians 4:23-14, “Let the spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God-truly righteous and holy.” I pray that for each member of our school community we would be open to a transformative, daily journey. Renewal means that we are open to allow God to touch our hearts and minds, to shape how we learn and to teach, serve and care for one another.

At the start of a new year there is always a fresh sense of beginnings. Students have the chance to step into new opportunities and teachers get to embrace new challenges. As a community I pray we look forward with hope and expectation and that we let go of what holds us back and seek God to step forward with faith and courage. When we allow God to renew our thoughts and attitudes, our actions follow. At Christway we want our classrooms to be filled with the presence of God. We want them to be a place of encouragement, where friendships grow stronger and learning experiences become purposeful and life giving.

We have welcomed several new teaching and support staff into our community this year. Each person brings new gifts, experiences and energy, and we are grateful for the ways they will enrich and the life of our school. Renewal often comes through people, through new ideas, new relationships and maintaining a shared commitment to our vision and mission.

We are also giving thanks to God for our refurbished (renewed) Secondary classrooms which were completed over the summer holiday. These refreshed spaces are not just improved buildings, they represent opportunity, growth and investment in the future of our students.

May this year be marked by hearts open to God’s work, minds ready to grow, and a community committed to living out our new nature—together.
