Parents and Friends Association (PFA)

On Saturday 21 February, the Parents and Friends Association (PFA) warmly welcomed the Christway families for a Community Dinner in the Salt Café. By God’s grace, it turned out to be a fun and memorable night. Families established new connections and got to know each other in a relaxed environment. They seem to thoroughly enjoy the fellowship while indulging in some scrumptious food.
Facepainting, balloon twisting, craft and Lego were on offer and the children made the best of it. The craft table had a range of activities based on this year's theme, Renewed (Ephesians 4:23-24).
For the third year in a row, Bunnings Oakleigh blessed us with a useful kitchen appliance, which was used for the free raffle. The Raffle this time around was open to anyone who attended. It was lovely to see the joy in the young winner’s face.
We ended the night with our traditional paper plane competition, where we were all thrilled to see the range of skills on display. All the children who attended were given small tokens of love for their participation and enthusiasm in various activities.
I take this opportunity to invite parents and guardians to join the PFA mailing list so that you can be notified of all the PFA volunteering opportunities. Kindly send an email to ssitther@yahoo.com.
I praise God for this opportunity to serve our blessed and Christ-centred community. I’d like to extend my gratitude for all your prayers and support.
I look forward to volunteering with you in the upcoming PFA events.
Yours in Christ
Samuel Sitther
PFA President
