CPSSA Year 6 Winter Carnival

On 17 August, our Year 6 students travelled to Kingsway Reserve to participate in the annual Winter Carnival. The day provided students with an exciting opportunity to represent St Helena’s Catholic Primary School while competing against other schools in AFL, netball and soccer. 

Throughout the carnival, students demonstrated outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship and resilience. Whether on the AFL field, netball court or soccer pitch, our students gave their best effort, supported their teammates and competed with enthusiasm and respect. 

The carnival was more than just a sporting event; it was an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, build confidence and strengthen friendships. We were incredibly proud of the way our Year 6 students represented our school, displaying positive attitudes and a strong sense of school spirit throughout the day. 

A special thank you to the staff, volunteers and organisers whose support helped make the event such a success. Congratulations to all our Year 6 students on their excellent participation and for being wonderful ambassadors for St Helena’s Catholic Primary School.
