Grade 5 News

Good afternoon, Grade 5 families, 

We have made it to the end of our first term in grade 5! What an amazing achievement from all the students. They have worked so hard this term and have shown such amazing growth already this year. We hope you all have a safe and fun holiday period. 

We welcome students back for Term 2 on Monday, 20th April. 

In week 9, we were very fortunate to have an Olympian come and speak to the Grade 5 cohort. Brooke Buschkuehl an Australia Long Jump Champion, Commonwealth Games silver medallist and Olympic athlete came and spoke about how she began as a 5 year old competing in Little Athletics and her journey through the years to becoming a world champion. Her story was very inspiring and the students had a lot of wonderful questions to ask after the talk. We are very proud of all our grade 5 students and how respectful they were listening to Brooke speak.
