VCE VM 2027 Selection Process

The Year 10 Subject Selection process for the 2027 school year has now commenced, providing students with the opportunity to begin planning their senior pathways and future studies at St Monica’s College.

As part of this process, Year 10 students attended a VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) Information Session during their Badano lesson on Tuesday, 12 May. During the session, students learned that the VCE VM program provides a Senior Secondary School Certificate while offering applied learning opportunities through Literacy, Numeracy, Work Related Skills, and Personal Development Skills units. Students were also informed about the range of timetabled and blocked VET certificate options available as part of the program.

Families are reminded that entry into the VCE VM program is through an application process and places are limited. Students who attended the session received an application form, while students who were absent can collect a form from the Year 10 Level Leaders. 

The Expression of Interest form must be completed and submitted to Miss Alicia Keighran by Friday, 5 June.
