ALA Applied Learning Coordinator and Supporter of the Year for 2024

Congratulations to Education Support, Australian Education Union member Geraldine Borghona on being awarded the ALA Applied Learning Coordinator and Supporter of the Year for 2024!

Well done Geraldine for being awarded the ALA Applied Learning Coordinator and Supporter of the Year for 2024. It is well deserved; you work very hard and you were even recognised for this in the AEU news magazine. A great picture, you look very proud! The students are very lucky to have you  supporting them. Well Done!

SWL – (Structured Work Placements) in Vocational Major and VCE

Vocational Major students not currently doing an SBAT will be looking for Structured Work placements (20 days) in Terms 2 and 3 particularly related to their VET Subject. If they attend their VET program on a Wednesday, they must do their Structured Work Placement on a Friday or vice versa. 

Year 10 students

Work Experience is coming up from 30th June to 4th July 2025 and our students are eager to get their forms signed and returned but they might need support from family members who are employed and whose employers are willing to give our students an opportunity into the world of work.

• 104 VCE Year 11 students to attend VCE and Careers Expo 2025 on Friday 2nd May 2025 from 9 am to 12:30 pm @ Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf
• SELLEN CAREER EXPO on Tuesday 13th May at KCC Park from 11 to 1 pm for Vocational Major students

• MONASH CAMPUS Tour for all Year 10 students Monday 19th May 2025

  22nd May Westall SC Annual Career Expo 

  We welcome Parents and Guardians to visit our school’s Sport Centre from 10:15am to 1 pm.

CAREERS SHINE A SPOTLIGHT ON School-based Apprenticeships (SBATs) 

We are proud of our SBAT students who “ learn and earn”  through their Employer REECE, METALFLEX  and  Registered Training Organisation MURRAY MALLEE TRAINING CO. LTD.

Another Employer who works with students who require a a more individualised and flexible program for their final year of schooling is GRE8 in partnership with Registered Training Organisation National Food Institute.
